Hello Big Apple...

Arrived and it is just as I imagined...humid! Now I've been to a lot of very hot places in my life, but I don't think I've ever had to change thrice in one day because of the sweat that saturates my clothes. I never thought I would say this, but i'm really looking forward to a "New York winter...oooohohohho everything can change..." (sung to the tune of Don Henley.)

I was surprised to see that my apartment is directly above my favorite NYC pizza joint...Che Bella's. Last time I was here, as a tourist, I tried their pie and instantly fell in love. I have a feeling it will be hard to not get pizza fat.

Thought I would take a stroll in my backyard. This is Wall Street...where dreams are made, and people are exploited

I took another walk through Columbia University's campus just to make sure I don't look too "touristy" on my first day.

I'm not exactly sure why this guy is welcoming everyone to the campus, but suddenly I don't feel so bad about myself; for a big guy, he isn't packing much heat...
